Spider-Man: Brand New Day has continued its record-breaking run at the box office, crossing ₹130 crore gross in India within just two days of release. The Tom Holland-starrer has also surpassed ₹1,650 crore (approximately $190 million) worldwide, making it one of the biggest Hollywood openings of the year.

The film recorded the biggest opening ever for a Hollywood release in India, driven by exceptional occupancy in IMAX, 3D and premium formats. Strong performances across the English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions have contributed to its impressive collections, with multiplexes in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai reporting high footfall.

Trade analysts attribute the film’s success to positive audience reception, strong advance bookings and the enduring popularity of Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise in India. The movie has maintained momentum after its record-breaking opening day, with weekend collections expected to rise further as family audiences and repeat viewers continue to visit cinemas.

With a robust global opening and sustained demand in key international markets, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is now on track to become one of the highest-grossing superhero films of 2026. Industry experts believe its performance could set new benchmarks for Hollywood releases in India if the current pace continues.
