KATSEYE is having a big week in the US music market.
The global girl group has placed four songs on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time, while its latest EP, WILD, has reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200. For a group that made its debut only in 2024, the latest chart results mark a significant step forward.
The four Hot 100 entries come from different parts of the groupâs growing catalogue. âAnimalâ moved up six places to No. 24, while âHootie Fruttiâ, the title track from WILD, entered the chart at No. 31. âPinky Upâ ranked at No. 81, and âICONIC BY MISTAKEâ, the groupâs collaboration with HYBE artists LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT, came in at No. 94.
That spread is worth noticing. This is not a case of one song carrying the group through the chart. Four tracks are finding space on the Hot 100 in the same week, giving KATSEYE a broader presence on one of the biggest music charts in the world.
The Billboard 200 result is even bigger for the group.
WILD debuted at No. 1 with 170,000 equivalent album units in the US during its first tracking week. It is KATSEYEâs first No. 1 on the chart and its second project to reach the Billboard 200âs top 10, following Beautiful Chaos, which peaked at No. 4 in 2025.
The 170,000-unit opening also gives WILD another notable distinction. Billboard reported that it is the biggest single-week result for an all-female group since the Billboard 200 began using its current units-based methodology in 2015.
KATSEYE is also not starting from zero. The group was formed through a partnership between HYBE and Geffen Records and was developed with an international audience in mind. The members come from different backgrounds, while the group itself is based in Los Angeles and uses the training and production system associated with K-pop.
That background makes the latest numbers particularly interesting.
KATSEYE was built to operate across music markets rather than remain tied to one country. The current Billboard results suggest that approach is beginning to show in a very visible way: the group is reaching US listeners through an EP as a whole, while several individual songs are also getting attention at the same time.
There is another small but telling sign of that interest. KATSEYEâs earlier releases have also returned to the Billboard 200 this week, with Beautiful Chaos at No. 92 and SIS (Soft Is Strong) at No. 156.
For a young group, that kind of movement matters. It suggests that listeners who discovered KATSEYE through the new release are also going back to its earlier music.
The group now has to turn this strong chart week into something that lasts.
A No. 1 EP and four Hot 100 entries are major achievements, but the next test is always the same: whether the audience stays interested after the first rush around a new release.
For now, though, KATSEYE has clearly moved another step forward. What began as a relatively new global pop project is now producing numbers that put the group alongside much more established names on the US charts.
And this time, it is not just one song making the noise. KATSEYE has several songs in the conversation at once â and that may be the most important part of this weekâs result.
